Throughout the topics we studied the past 6 weeks, you should be able to:

-       Identify the 7 continents on a map
-       Identify the 4 major oceans
-       Identify the provinces and capital cities of Canada
-       Be able to navigate North, South, East and West with a compass rose on a map (Street View)
-       Be able to identify various types of maps and explain their differences
-       Find a country or location when given its coordinates (longitude and latitude)
-       Explain whether a country is in the northern or southern hemisphere or East or West of the Prime Meridian
-       Explain what the Prime Meridian is
-       Explain why time zones are important
-       Be able to calculate and find the time of a specific city/country when given a problem about time zones

Understand and give the definition for the following: latitude, longitude, hemisphere, equator, time zone, prime meridian, GPS
